How this reference is used here

These are our published explanations that cite this source. Each link opens the relevant section; this does not mean the publisher endorses the article.

Goji berries · Taste and texture

The SAMR food advice describes ripe dried goji as sweet and moist-tasting, sometimes with a slight bitter finish. A fruit packet, juice blend and root-bark preparation are different products, not texture variants of one dish.

Goji berries · Evidence and ingredient-specific cautions

UTEP notes potential interactions with blood-thinning medicines and limited evaluation in pregnancy and lactation. Its bibliography includes laboratory and animal work as well as other reports. Those are not interchangeable forms of evidence for an ordinary bowl of food. No personal safety clearance is offered here.

Goji berries · Choose berries for the dish, not the front-label promise

For example, when making soup and wanting berries that still have some chew, plan their cleaning before the final cooking stage rather than putting them in with every long-cooking ingredient. The earlier washing and soaking guidance and the SAMR late-addition example serve different purposes: one concerns preparation and residues, the other texture. Neither is a method for authenticating the packet.
